Tipes of Cherries
Santina:Canadian variety of the cherry type, large in size and heart-shaped with good endurance in the tree.
Sweet Heart: Late variety, which generates large and early fruit. It is highly productive. Its harvest is from mid-December.
Bing: It is a medium season variety, with excellent flavor and great post-harvest. Its origin is the United States, being the most traditional and representative cherry in America.
Lapins: A variety of medium season, low accumulation of cold (600 hours), very fertile and good production.
Regina: The origin of the Cherry Regina variety is a cross between the Schneider’s and Rube varieties.
Skeena: The Skeena cherry variety comes from Canada, more specifically, from the Summerland research station.
